Meet Our Founder
Jimmy (James) Fontaine founded WAVE Magazine in 2016 after realising that his passion for R&B had not been represented in Magazines on the shelves. He took the initiative to make one himself. He pledged to give voices to the unheard, promote new artists and promote diversity in the music industry as well as shedding light to the R&B and Soul scene. WAVE Magazine still stands by his values and has since branched out in the genres of music that it represents.

Photoshoots with WAVE artists

Part of WAVE's mission is to increase visibility and representation of diverse voices which is why we have collaborated with Congolese singer Fally Ipupa to promote his European Tour. WAVE partnered with Fally to sell his tour tickets at a discounted price for subscription members.

I'm obsessed with the fusion between modern day and the vibe of the 2000s. It's so aesthetically pleasing I can't stop staring at it.
